Every man's memory is his private literature. -Aldous Huxley
Ahh, memories.
It's been a year and a half already.
I'm watching The Grudge right now. This is the first time I've seen it. It's set in Japan (duh), but seeing the people and being reminded of the culture makes me want to go back. Soon.
Japanese people are so kind, gentle, hospitable, selfless. They aim to please, and will settle for nothing less. I miss the language, the people, the buildings, the busy atmosphere. At the same time, I miss the mountains, the view, the peace and serenity of nature.
I miss the train stations.
The food.
The orderly chaos.
It's all so ironic. But I love it.
I hope I get to go back someday.
